Green River Killer
Gary Leon Ridgway
Green River Killer's Handwriting:

For twenty years the Green River Killer had eluded capture. Gary Leon Ridgway, was finally apprehended and pleaded guilty to 48 counts of strangling women to death over the course of two decades.
His three ex-wives and several old girlfriends reported that he was sexually insatiable, demanding sex several times a day. Often times, he would want to have sex in a public area or in the woods, even in the areas where some of the bodies had been discovered.
Here are some of the quotes Ridgeway gave in his testimony:
"I wanted to kill as many women as I thought were prostitutes as I possibly could," he said in the statement. He said he left some bodies in "clusters" and enjoyed driving by the sites afterward, thinking about what he had done.
"In most cases, when I killed these women, I did not know their names," Ridgway said. "Most of the time, I killed them the first time I met them, and I do not have a good memory of their faces."
"I hate most prostitutes, and I did not want to pay them for sex."
Ridgway was known to have been obsessed with prostitutes. It was thought that he may have been torn by his uncontrollable lusts and his staunch religious beliefs. According to one of his wives, he became a religious fanatic, often times crying following sermons and reading the bible.
