OJ Simpson
Superstar football hero and celebrity OJ Simpson, was accused of the brutal stabbing murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in 1994.
In spite of public outcry, he was acquitted in the Criminal Trial, dubbed "the trial of the century." However, in the 1996 Civil Trial, Simpson was held responsible for the deaths. The Brown and Goldman families were awarded $30 million. As of 2002 neither family has seen any of the money.
