The DBTL Manual is a diagnostic tool that can be readily applied to detect and identify high-risk behavior in employees, students, patients, prisoners and criminal suspects.
The techniques taught are user-friendly to all readers, regardless of graphology experience. This manual was geared for use in Conflict Resolution, Workplace Violence, Employment Pre-Screening, Investigation, Safe Dating, Law Enforcement, Corrections, and Domestic Spousal Abuses.
The DBTL Manual offers an assessment tool (compendium of data and directions). Providing visual/pictorial samples, and psychological descriptions of both mentally healthy and danger signals. It further describes character traits which tend to facilitate or inhibit dangerous behavior.
The manual includes sections on Primary Signs of Dangerousness (D), Facilitators to Dangerousness (F), and Inhibitors to Dangerousness (I). It is generously illustrated with handwritings and biographical sketches.
For use in Conflict Resolution, Workplace Violence, Employment Pre- screening, Investigation, Law Enforcement, Safe-Dating, Domestic Spousal Abuse.
Examples of profiles of proven or potential murderers, serial killers and mass murderers include: Ramsey Ransom Note, Oklahoma Bomber, OJ Simpson, Unabomber, Andrew Cunanan.

Facilitating Assessment of Dangerousness Using Handwriting Characteristics; e.g., "Danger Between The Lines," by Kim Iannetta with James F. Craine Ph.D. & Dennis G. McLaughlin, Ph.D. is the result of a ten-year research project at the Hawaii State Hospital. This book is a comprehensive manual to help professionals determine whether dangerousness exists in an individual and, if so, to what degree and whether there are counterbalancing factors. The study used the Pearson Correlation Coefficients to determine the degree of relationship between estimates based on the analysis of writing characteristics and clinical estimates of dangerousness. The reliability of the psychologists' ratings for dangerousness, (0.92) and the reliability of the handwriting analysis rating, (0.83) provides evidence that the graphological technique demonstrated significant validity when used to predict potential dangerousness.
